About The Maker
I’m Kevin, the maker behind Ozark Diamond. My journey into leathercraft started in early 2020 after a frustrating moment on the job—I dropped my phone into a machine, shattering it into pieces. When I went looking for a quality phone case, all I found were mass-produced plastic options that didn’t last. That’s when I decided to make my own.
What started as a personal project quickly grew as friends and family began requesting custom pieces. I realized I had a passion for creating durable, handcrafted leather goods, and I committed to mastering the craft. Today, Ozark Diamond is built on a simple philosophy: quality over quantity. I hand-stitch every product—no machines, no shortcuts—ensuring that each piece is made to last, aging beautifully over time.
Supporting local is important to me. I source materials and collaborate with friends and family whenever possible, from the stickers to the website to the photography. Ozark Diamond isn’t just about making leather goods; it’s about creating something you can pass down for generations.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors—hiking, floating down a river, and enjoying the beauty of the Ozarks.
